The Vacuum Mixing & Drying Company

Every Vacuum Mixer Geometry. One Engineering Discipline.

Mix, dry, react and deaerate — in one vessel, under vacuum, validated on your material.

QuantumX designs and manufactures vacuum mixer/dryers in eleven geometries — ribbon, paddle, plow, double cone, V-blender, fluidized zone, high-speed granulator, conical screw and drum for powders; planetary and sigma for pastes. Every machine is engineered around your product, its drying curve measured in trial, and FAT-tested against the same acceptance criteria before it ships.

Nine Powder Geometries — Matched to the Product, Not the Catalog

Shear tolerance, flow behaviour, granulation needs and batch economics decide the geometry. We build all nine, so the recommendation follows your material — and we prove it in trial before quoting.

Vacuum sigma kneader schematic — counter-rotating Z-blades in a twin-saddle trough with extrusion discharge

Vacuum Sigma Mixers & Dryers

Counter-rotating Z-blades knead the heaviest doughs and masses made — devolatilising, drying and deaerating as the mass develops, with an extrusion-screw discharge for product too stiff to pour. Electrode pastes, sealant masses, gum bases.

Every geometry, with or without vacuum.

All eleven QuantumX geometries are also built as standard atmospheric mixers — same engineered agitator, jacket and validation, without the vacuum system. Standard ribbon mixers & blenders are documented in full with PRB/PVR spec tables; ask for standard-model specifications of any other geometry. For steady-state duties, Continuous Mixers & Dryers run to 60 t/h.

Why QuantumX

The Vacuum Dryer Is Only Half the Machine. The Other Half Is Proof.

Any fabricator can wrap a jacket around a vessel and bolt on a pump. What decides your cycle time and product quality is engineering: heated area per litre, agitator geometry against your flow behaviour, evaporation rate at your solvent and vacuum level, and the endpoint that says the batch is done.

  • Trial before quotation. Your material runs on a pilot machine; the drying curve, blend CV and endpoint are measured, not asserted.
  • Numbers on the order. Heated area, vacuum level, cycle time and acceptance criteria are written into the purchase order.
  • FAT against the same criteria. The production machine repeats the trial method before shipment. Same tracer, same curve, no substitutions.
  • One manufacturer. Vessel, agitator, vacuum train, controls and containment from one shop — a Proc-X Manufacturing Group brand. No vendor fragmentation, no split warranties.

Drag the pressure down and watch the boiling point fall — that curve is the business case for vacuum processing. Heat-sensitive product dries at temperatures a conventional dryer cannot approach, while solvents come back on the condenser instead of leaving through a stack.
